Who am I?

I'm an octogenarian who has had a wonderful life full of highs and lows, just like most of my peers. Educator (principal), businessman (advertising/marketing firm), non-profit executive, (performing arts) event producer, volunteer, thespian (starting in high school) and husband, father, grandfather. That’s made for a pretty full life, with some fantastic experiences.

So why now K...Designs? My response to my friends when they ask, why not? I’m still active (with normal aging issues) and still have the creative juices that still flow as they have for all these decades. Throughout my life I've never considered a number relating to age to be a significant issue. Honestly, I get a little exercised when I hear younger people say someone is too old to do whatever.

I often hear my friends say, when are you going to retire? Have you ever looked up the word? Leave, withdraw, retreat, take your leave, go away... REALLY? There are some other definitions I do like... to bed, turn-in, hit the sack, hit the hay. Those are all reasonable and I fully subscribe to each and every one of those. But withdraw? NEVER.
